How To Order

All of our custom size steel interior and exterior doors are made to your exact specifications. The first step is to contact our team. We’ll be able to answer any questions you have and talk you through the process. We’ll need details about your project and the size and location of the doors you require. We’ll then be able to create a detailed quote for you to review and approve.

We assign a project manager to every order, so you will have a dedicated point of contact throughout the process. We take great pride in our prompt communication with customers and will be in regular contact throughout the process.

Price Estimate – 3-7 Days

Provide overall sizes, details, project requirements and the installation location. Precision Steel will provide a detailed project quote. Quotes require customer review and approval.

Shop Drawings – 1-2 Weeks

Once the price quote is approved, Precision Steel will create shop drawings and specifications for each element of your project. Shop Drawings require customer review and approval. Changes and redlines will be turned around in 24 – 48 hours.

Product Manufacturing at our manufacturing facility begins when Shop Drawings are approved. Lead times vary depending on the scope and type of your project. General manufacturing lead times by product type are indicated below:

Milan Steel Door / Series 10-14 Weeks
Windows French Thin Line Series 12-14 Weeks
Sliders & Bi-fold Systems – 14+ Weeks

Additional Project Assistance is available and is especially beneficial for installations of large units that require site mulling.
